We have worked extensively with various government departments and agencies to provide CMMI appraisal support services and process improvement consultancy. For one large engineering department, we helped to coordinate a significant appraisal and improvement programme culminating in a successful CMMI Maturity Level 2.
Aerospace & Defence
We have provided Project Management and Software & Systems Development services to world-class defence contractors including BAe Systems. We helped to overhaul the existing Quality Management System for one area and re-engineered the business processes to enable the department in question to go on to achieve CMMI Maturity Level 3
For QinetiQ, we provided a programme of bespoke, introductory level training in CMMI for Development.
In the financial sector, we have provided a wide range of consultancy and improvement services to a number of important clients including:Lloyds Banking Group, VISA Europe and Standard Bank. Our involvement with these organisations include:
- Support in the training and setup of Agile Life-cycle Management (ALM) Toolset across a large and geographically dispersed organisation.
- Provision of independant Quality Assurance services to a large strategic online payment project
- Undertook a detailed project healthcheck of a desktop enhancement project and made recommendations for improvement action
Following a baseline CMMI Appraisal against Maturity Level 3, we provided follow up consultancy and training in the CMMI for Lotus Engineering.
The training was tailored to meet the specific information needs of the organisation and designed to help them focus on the short and long term targets that they needed to help them work towards a Maturity Level 3.
In partnership with Excellence In Measurement Technology, we provided CMMI training, appraisal and consultancy services to a large multi-national telecommunications organisation. This helped the organisation to achieve CMMI Maturity Level 2 in under 2 years and laid the foundation for ongoing process improvement work both within the original business unit and across the wider organisation, in both development and service delivery areas.
